The long-term project “Gamifying Education” is on!

The organizational team met in Brno (Czech Republic) in the beginning of November 2021 for the official kick-off meeting, where we discussed the goals of the project, defined exciting outcomes, planned dates for the project’s mobilities, and of course, played games

“Gamifying education” is an international partnership between Czech Republic, Spain, Estonia and Romania that will develop a set of three training activities and three manuals on different game-based approaches to education.

The project aims to further develop, share and promote game-based learning practices as an efficient and innovative approach to learning and to make game-based learning more present in formal and non-formal education institutions.

Trying a new educational game about media and fake news

During these days we also had the chance to try the educational game Fakescape, which teaches students about fake news and promotes media literacy and critical thinking. It is already being used in schools all around the Czech Republic, and we definitely understand why!

One of the big outcomes of the project, which will help us share our love for games and experience of creating and facilitating educational games to more people, is this website. We will share more about the Playversity initiative, our goals, and what you can look forward to very soon!
