“Breakout Box” is another cooperation between Shokkin Group Estonia, Be International, and Ticket2Europe that started in the summer of 2021. This time, we focused on escape games.

Game-based learning is the incorporation of game methods into the learning process. These games can be very different, from computer games to board games or even escape games.


Exciting escape rooms for learning

But we didn’t create any regular escape rooms you might know (and love). These are special!  They are mobile, can be put together by teachers and youth workers, and used in their lessons or workshops. Simply put, they are educational escape games in a box.

To help educators who would like to involve more game-based learning in their work, we created an extensive, easy-to-ready manual. 

“Breakout Box: The Manual” is divided into several sections, which gradually go through the theory of escape games, their potential to practical instructions and how to build such escape games.

Of course, there you will also find different tips and tricks on how to properly facilitate or play such games.
