“Edugame” aims to increase the competences of youth workers and educators to use game-based learning as well as to introduce and train participants in using the educational game son soft skills developed during the long-term project with the same name.
Training for youth workers on game-based learning
In this training course, participants will:
- get a deeper understanding of game-based learning;
- learn how to facilitate and effectively use created games;
- learn how to create own educational games;
- be able to transfer the acquired knowledge/skills into the work of organizations/institutions that participant work in.
During the training activity, participants will have a chance to be trained in using game-based learning and creating educational games in their work, as well as be able to facilitate the specific educational games created during “Learn2Play”.
The ideal participant should:
- be working with young people (13-30) on regular basis (teacher, youth worker, social worker, youth leader, educator, trainer, camp leader);
- be interested in bringing game-based learning into their own practice;
- have basic experience with non-formal education or experiential learning;
- have strong interest in using the new methods in their daily work;
- be a resident of Estonia, Malta or Poland.
