In a hands-on manner, a group of international participants with the support of the hosting and training team will dive into clowning, improv, and personal exploration techniques. The training aims to enrich the toolbox of a youth worker and give the possibility to learn about oneself and explore personal boundaries, acquiring clowning techniques along the way.
As a result of the training, participants are expected to:
Experience a set of methods and practice techniques to use in direct work with young people (e.g. using techniques in communication trainings for young people).
- Develop confident attitude and find their clown personality.
- Gain a clear understanding of clowning and bouffon art forms.
- Explore personal boundaries with the art of clowning.
- Experience a set of methods and practice techniques to use in direct work with young people (e.g. using techniques in communication trainings for young people).
Participant profile
- Youth workers, non-formal educators, trainers, camp leaders, teachers, VET & HE teaching staff, student union representatives.
- No prior experience with clowning or theater is required. However, candidates should be willing to explore new techniques & able to join the full training timeline.
- At least 18 yearls old.
- Able to communicate in English.
- Ready to participate actively during all project phases.
