The Learn2Play e-course is an online learning adventure that introduces educational game design basics to youth workers, youth leaders and educators. The e-course has been developed under the Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project named Learn-2-Play and is absolutely free.
What is the course?
This course is aimed to:
- provide an overview of what are educational games, more specifically in the context of youth work and education.
- share examples of games developed and applied in educational and youth work contexts.
- provide templates for designing your own educational game
- share insights from practitioners.
This is a free asynchronous course, which means that you can take it at your own pace and handle assignments in the most convenient time for you. The “Learn2Play” e-course is made up of 5 modules:
- Module 1: What is an educational game?
- Module 2: Examples of educational games
- Module 3: Preparing to design an educational game
- Module 4: Step-By-Step design of educational games
- Module 5: Tips on facilitation of educational games
