Imagine slipping into the shoes of a medieval knight, a cunning spy, or a powerful but corrupt politician… and then bringing that character to life. This is the world of Live Action Role-Playing (LARP), where fantasy meets reality in the most immersive ways imaginable.
Last October we had the opportunity to dive into this unique and exhilarating experience as part of the “Edularp Alembic” training course in Poland, and what started as mere curiosity for some of us quickly evolved into an unforgettable adventure. From crafting a dynamic persona to navigating a world brimming with challenges and unexpected twists, each moment of the journey was a lesson in creativity, collaboration, and pure imagination.
During the training activity, international teams of youth workers and educators developed their own LARP game prototypes, which we have compiled in a booklet with step-by-step instructions and links to printable materials.
Note! These are game prototypes, not finished products. We encourage you to get inspired by the topics and the storylines of the game prototypes, and to twitch them in your own , unique way! 😉
“Edularp Alembic: New perspectives on youth work” was a project coordinated by Shokkin Group Estonia, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme and implemented with the support of the Estonian National Agency.
