We are excited to announce the release of the first official resource from the DivE(d) project: a practical, ready-to-use collection of LEGO®-based learning activities designed to make education more inclusive, engaging, and adaptable for diverse groups of young people.
What is DivE(d)?
DivE(d) is an international cooperation project with the ultimate goal of developing a set of inclusive learning methods (LEGO®, puzzles, LARPs, TTRPGs) suitable for diverse-ability groups of young people in the youth work and education fields.
Output 1: LEGO®-based learning resource collection
The first released resource focuses on LEGO®-based learning, offering both theoretical insights and hands-on activities you can use right away. Inside, you will find:
- An introduction to LEGO®-based learning.
- Guidance on facilitating LEGO® activities.
- Practical tips for adapting games to different audiences.
- A collection of ready-made DivE(d) LEGO® game outlines.
At the heart of the resource are 9 LEGO®-based educational games, designed for young people aged 11–16. Games cover school-related subjects like social studies, geography, or maths; last around 30–45 minutes, and are designed with inclusivity and adaptability in mind.
Everything you need, ready to go
Each game comes as a complete, easy-to-use package, including:
- Clear technical information (group size, timing, materials)
- Intro and rule texts you can use directly with participants
- Step-by-step gameplay instructions
- Debriefing questions to support reflection and learning
- Suggestions for follow-up activities
On top of that, all printable materials are included and ready to use, so you can prepare your session quickly and without stress. Whether you are a teacher, youth worker, or facilitator, this resource gives you practical ways to bring inclusive, play-based learning into your sessions.
Download the DivE(d) LEGO® resource and start experimenting with new ways to engage your group, one brick at a time.
